You can activate (sometimes referred to as “register”) your temporary GO2bank debit card by downloading the GO2bank app or going to GO2bank.com/start and following the prompts. You’ll be asked to create a PIN and provide some info so we can verify your identity, including:
– 16 digit debit card number
– Expiration date
– 3-digit security code (found on the back of your card)
– Your Social Security number and date of birth
– Email address
– Mobile number (for future identify verification purposes)
– Home address
We’re required to collect this information in accordance with The USA PATRIOT Act — a Federal law that requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies anyone who successfully opens an account with us.
Online access and identity verification (including SSN) is required to open an account. Mobile number or email address verification and mobile app are required to access all features. Federal law requires a person to be 18 or older to open an account.
