How can we help?
What happens if I exceed my GO2bank Secured Credit Card credit limit?
If you exceed your credit limit, you’ll no longer be able to make a purchase until you’ve paid down your balance to below your credit limit. There are no additional fees for exceeding your credit limit, but your activity is reported to the three major credit bureaus. Negative behaviors such as consistently spending to (or over) the credit limit can damage your credit over time. Conversely, complete on-time minimum payments and other good behaviors like keeping your balance low can help build a positive credit file over time.
Please refer to your Cardholder Agreement & Security Agreement for details about your credit limit.
