What is Experian lost wallet assistance?

If your wallet is lost or stolen, your identity is at risk. Experian recommends locking your Experian credit file and contacting an Experian membership specialist for help.

Experian membership specialist can check your credit report for active accounts, then help you contact your creditors to cancel and re-order your credit and debit cards, driver's license, insurance card, passport or medical ID card.

You won’t need your credit card account numbers, since your creditors can verify your account with other methods. However, for your security, your bank or creditor will speak only with the account holder.

Online access, mobile number verification (via text message) and identity verification (including SSN) are required to open and use your account.
