Why can’t I cash a check through the GO2bank app in the state of New York?

Mobile check cashing through the GO2bank app is not available for use within the state of New York. If you are physically located within the border of the state of New York when you try to access the service, you will receive an error message and will be unable to use the service.

You can deposit your check to your GO2bank account in person at Walmart and other retail locations. Present your check and your activated GO2bank debit card at the register at these locations to deposit your check. Fees and limits apply, check with the retailer for details.
