GO2bank supports its military customers by making sure our servicemembers are aware of the federal Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), and the benefits it offers. SCRA permits customers on active duty in the United States Military to devote their full attention to service by easing some of their financial obligations. As an active duty member of the United States Military, you may be eligible for SCRA benefits and protections on the GO2bank Secured Credit Card – specifically an APR limit of 6% on the outstanding balance at the time of being called to active duty. The rate reduction for pre-service obligations applies during the period of active duty service only.

SCRA’s benefits and protections, such as the interest-rate cap limitation, are intended to protect military personnel who had an existing obligation prior to becoming active duty military and are less able to manage their finances while in active service.

Customer Responsibilities:

To qualify for SCRA benefits, all required documentation (e.g. copy of valid military orders) must be provided to GO2bank.

Log in to your GO2bank account at www.GO2bank.com and go to the secured credit card tile on your account dashboard. Click on the secured credit card account to locate the Menu and select Military benefits. You will only be able to see this option on the website (not the app). Once you upload the required documentation, we’ll review the submission and send an email to confirm your eligibility.

Continue making payments as SCRA benefits do not relieve you of your responsibility to make payments, nor do they prevent us from reporting past due payments to credit bureaus.
